Throwing drills?? outfielder needs a better arm?
Okay im a freshman in college. i just graduated and my arm is really weak and i really want to play college ball. I use to have a cannon but two elbow injuries have shot my arm up. Now i can barely long toss or throw the ball with zip. it sucks cuz sometimes i look at the way i play and i know im not the same guy i was before. im not the fastest of guys but ima hardworker and im trying to improve on that. but this arm thing is killing me. ppl say i have no shoot and are always trying to take the extra base. i mean my throws are accurate but i gotta hit the cut off man instead of throwing seeds straight through like i use too. i have this fear that the more i keep pushing my arm da more im risking myself of having another injury to this arm. cuz i try and throw hardd day in and day out to get it stronger. ive thought about trying to throw lefty. idk any arm strength drills don’t tell me to long toss cuz i already know dat i just cant throw the ball far with zip and i keep long tossing everyday im scared im going to blow my arm out
Sorry to hear that. Have you had any Dr. diagnosis? Doesn’t sound like it. Two elbow injuries, depending on what you did, may well have blown your elbow up. You need to get it looked at. Your fear that you may be doing further damage is justifiable.
